Process

How we work together.

Six steps, and nothing proceeds without your approval.

  1. Share the brief

A few lines on the product, the quantities and the timing. We reply with considered questions.

  2. See it as yours

We shortlist styles, materials and partner makers, and show your name or logo on them.

  3. A clear proposal

Minimums, sample time, lead time and every cost, per piece, in writing.

  4. Approve the sample

Samples are made by the partner maker to your brief. You review fit, finish and branding.

  5. Production, overseen

Production begins after your approval. We follow it with the maker through to shipping.

  6. Launch

Photography, line sheets, your store or wholesale set-up, with our brand and marketing partners.

Questions

Frequently asked.

What is private label clothing?

Clothing made by a manufacturer and sold under your brand. You choose the garment, fabric, fit, colours and branding; a partner maker produces it with your labels and packaging.

Blanks or cut and sew: which do I need?

Blanks are existing garments finished with your labels, prints or embroidery: faster, with lower minimums. Cut and sew makes the garment from your pattern and fabric: more control, more time. We recommend one per style in your quote.

What is the minimum order for private label clothing?

It depends on the garment, fabric and decoration. SOCELLE confirms the minimum for each style in your quote. Tell us your target quantity in the request form.

Can you develop clothing and shoes together?

Yes. Marcel Afters, our case study, runs shoes and apparel as one range. See the case study.
