Choose work that shows your direction
Lead with a small selection that feels relevant to the next assignment you want. A model’s book, a makeup artist’s beauty work and a photographer’s campaign edit answer different questions. Label your role, collaborators and the date where useful. Use work you are permitted to share, and link to a portfolio that opens without a login.
Make your contribution clear
If you produced the concept, styled the subject, appeared on camera or edited the film, say so. Collaborative work is useful evidence when the individual contribution is clear. Creators can also share the formats they make and the audience they serve; identify the source and date of any audience figures.
Describe the bookings you want
Name the categories, formats and markets you want to develop. An ongoing beauty partnership is a different ambition from editorial modelling or a styling commission. Include your base and practical availability. You do not need a finished career plan; a clear direction gives the team something concrete to discuss.
Outline existing relationships
Mention current representation and any category or territory commitments that may affect new work. SOCELLE reviews the proposed scope with you before a representation relationship is agreed. Sending a portfolio starts that conversation; fees, responsibilities and any commission arrangement belong in the agreed terms.
Keep brand work ready to review
For creator partnerships, retain the brief, approved claims and agreed usage alongside the creative work. The FTC’s disclosure guidance is a useful reference for US-facing endorsements, including relationships involving free products or services. Campaign-specific requirements should be considered with the relevant team.
